KickAssist was a “crowdsourced crowdfunding” project I designed and developed at Magic Pixel Games. Every two weeks, we selected three games from Kickstarter and allowed the public to vote on which one should receive Magic Pixel’s backer money. We gave over $2500 to Kickstarter projects and helped 18 games get funded, ranging from Chivalry: Medieval Warfare to Homeless.

The site ran from August through December 2012, and is currently on hiatus. You can read more about KickAssist in this article from VentureBeat.
